The Merlynston Hadfield Cricket Club was formed in 2001 following the amalgamation of the Merlynston District CC and Hadfield CC. Our governing body is the Hadfield Sporting Club, which oversees the cricket, football, netball and darts clubs. The Merlynston District Cricket Club was formed in 1971 following the amalgamation of Merlynston CC with Merlynston Footballers CC. However, history from the former MCC and MFCC dates back as far as 1932/33. Our club is based in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne.

The club fields five senior teams, with our 1st XI and 2nd XI playing in the Victorian Turf Cricket Association and our 3rd, 4th & 5th XI's playing in the North West Metropolitan Cricket Association. Training is held on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5.30pm from October to March. Pre-Season Training times will be announe on our New page. The club fields junior teams in the North West Metropolitan Cricket Association, playing in all age groups from Under 10's to Under 16's and MILO Have-A-Go.

The club is located at Martin Reserve on Box Forest Rd, Hadfield (Melways 17E2). The facilities are outstanding and include a social clubroom that offers everything that is required to players and supporters alike, with a full bar, kitchen area, fully glassed viewing area, separate change rooms and many other features.
